So, you’re surfing the web and you’re bombarded with website pop-ups, what gives? Just so you know, your browser has a lot to do with it. Most likely, you have adware or a new junk toolbar installed that you didn’t realize you had. So, how do we get pop-ups to stop?
How To Disable Pop-ups
The easiest way to disable pop-ups is use a program called CCleaner. CCleaner is an application that has several tools to sweep and clean temporary internet files, cookies, and cache. Other tools included in the CCleaner application are a program uninstaller, registry scan and Windows cleaner. Simply, just download the application from our download center, install and run.
Uninstall Toolbars
Another thing to do is check your internet addons to see what has been installed. Delete addons you don’t use or need. Also, check add/or remove programs ‘Programs and Features’ in the Windows OS. Somehow or another, junk toolbars always end up in there.
